Harry is a Clinical Academic and Consultant in Clinical Genetics and Genomic Medicine. He has broad range of experience and interests, and is particularly interested in rare disease genetics.
Harry is passionate about supporting individuals and families through the process of genetic testing and helping them understand the implications of any results, so that they can decide their own best next steps forwards. He will provide support to our genetic counselling team for complex cases and be available for individual appointments when necessary.
He is also the Lead for Clinical Genetics at Jeen Health, working closely with the team at London Pregnancy Clinic. Together, they support patients and families with clear, evidence-led genetic guidance during pregnancy and beyond.
Dr Leitch’s academic work explores early human development, including how genetic and epigenetic changes shape the germline cycle. He also studies how disruption in early development can contribute to severe infertility or germ cell tumours, using stem cell models to validate genomic findings. Clinically, he specialises in paediatric rare disease genetics, helping families understand complex results and next steps with care and clarity.
